Orn
Piers Anthony (1970)

█ There is a noticeable decrease in qua-
█ lity between "Omnivore" and its se-
█ quels. One can vividly imagine Antho-
█ ny's publisher urging him to include
█ more of what today is considered bla-
█ tant sexism, likely hoping to increase
█ sales numbers. Further, its pacing is
█ much worse. Particularly the book's
█ first half, before its human protago-
█ nists meet Orn, is extremely dreary.
