█ I read excerpts from this short story
█ in high school English classes, and I
█ saw its movie adaptation in 2016. I
█ particularly enjoyed the protagonist's
█ scientific manner of speech, the ali-
█ ens' physiology, and the storytelling.
█ The lack of "evil humans shooting at
█ innocent aliens" and of explanations
█ for the aliens' motives make it super-
█ or to "Arrival" in my opinion.
